キヌレニンを3-ヒドロキシキヌレニンに代謝する反応を触媒する酵素。1
3-ヒドロキシキヌレニンは神経毒性を持つため、この酵素を阻害することによってハンチントン病などの神経変性疾患の治療効果が報告されている。3
