STATのひとつ。サイトカイン（Ⅰ型インターフェロンやIFN-γなど）が細胞の受容体に結合するとリン酸化されて細胞核内に移行し、標的遺伝子を発現する。¹

STAT1の活性化は樹状細胞にタキキニン受容体の発現を誘導する。
